Mike came to First Christian Church in February 2007, after 25 years in film production in Dallas.  Coming to the ministry as a second career, he has found it a sometimes demanding, but always rewarding profession.

He enjoys the good citizens of Belton, and especially the kind and faithful members of First Christian; he participates as a member of the Belton Ministers’ Fellowship and serves on the board of Helping Hands Ministries.

Mike is a graduate from Abilene Christian University, and received his Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  A lifelong learner, he loves the deeper study of scripture with the Wednesday evening Bible study class.  For relaxation, Mike reads, watches movies, and listens to Mozart and the Moody Blues.  He dabbles in photography and is an avid golfer, playing as often as two or three times a month.
