The DWF meets monthly September through May, usually the first  Monday evening of the month. 

The group serves various  community outreach projects including Project Appletree and CASA Christmas initiative and Project Heartbeat for homeless students in the BISD . 

The women organize the fellowship activities for the church with special meals and Lunch on the Square which is open to the public. Providing homemade cookies to visitors to the church is a favorite hospitality activity.
